For every testing instruction the company receives from family law and social work professionals this year, AlphaBiolabs will be entering the name of the customer into a bimonthly charity draw. The winner can then nominate a charity of their choice to receive a £500 donation.
As the first winner of the year, Andrew has nominated St Gemma’s Hospice in Leeds – a cause close to his heart – to receive the donation.
St Gemma’s Hospice is the largest hospice in Leeds, and one of the largest in the UK, providing expert care and support for patients and carers via its In-Patient Unit, the St Gemma’s community team, and Out-Patients.
Hannah Corne, Corporate Fundraising Manager at St Gemma’s Hospice, said: ‘We would like to say a big thank you to Andrew and AlphaBiolabs for their generous donation to St Gemma’s Hospice.
‘As an independent charity, donations of this kind make a big impact, enabling us to provide the best possible care for local people living with cancer and other life-threatening or life-limiting illnesses. The money will be put towards the continued care of our patients.’
Rachel Davenport, Director at AlphaBiolabs, said: ‘St Gemma’s Hospice does valuable work in Leeds, providing care for local people with life-limiting and terminal illnesses, and we are pleased to support their work via Andrew’s donation.
‘With over 20 years’ experience working with family law professionals, FDACs, social services and local authorities, we know just how important it is to give back to local communities, supporting families through the most challenging of times.’
Over the last few years, AlphaBiolabs has supported several charities via its Giving Back campaigns, changing many lives for the better by donating to causes close to its heart. For the 2024 campaign, customers can nominate causes close to their hearts, via the bimonthly Giving Back charity draw.
The next draw will take place at the end of April 2024.
