About the Role

This key fixed-term role involves developing and maintaining online practical guidance, insights, and materials for employment lawyers and HR professionals. You will be part of a high-functioning team producing a market-leading product that provides practical guidance on employment law topics such as recruitment, employment contracts, policies and procedures, equality, diversity and inclusion, protected rights, working time, whistleblowing, employee information, trade unions, employment tribunal practice and procedure, and settlement.

Responsibilities

  • Write, edit, and maintain content for the employment law guidance module, including practical guidance notes, precedent documents, checklists, flowcharts, Q&As, and related materials.
  • Monitor legal and practice developments relevant to our customer base.
  • Provide high-quality news and analysis tailored to meet the needs and expectations of employment lawyers.
  • Engage with customers and legal contacts to understand their needs and stay updated on the latest developments and market trends.

Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of employment law and practice, ideally with experience in employment tribunals.
  • Experience in employment law at a leading chambers, private practice law firm, or in-house legal department.
  • Ability to write clearly and concisely, effectively communicating complex legal concepts and their practical application.
