William Clegg KC is the author of bestselling memoir Under The Wig (Canbury Press: 2018). Called in 1972 he took silk in 1991 and retired from practice at the end of last year. He was Head of Chambers at 2, Bedford Row for 25 years and was Treasurer of Gray’s Inn in 2019. He continues to sit as a Recorder in the Crown Court.
